If the system is turned off, the entry sensors do work properly and announce when a door is opened, so it appears that the sensors are working properly. However, when I set the system to "Home", and open a door, the chime no longer rings, nor does the system announce which door has been opened. The "devices not responding", may mean the batteries need changed.
